Brianna N. Howard (b. 2000) is a visual artist working primarily in painting and printmaking. Her work investigates the ways information and perception accumulate, shift, and dissolve, transforming discrete visual elements into fields of texture and relational networks. Through layered compositions and subtle structural disruptions, Howard’s practice explores the tension between order and interference, inviting viewers to navigate multiple scales of reading.
Howard earned a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Boston University (2022). Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions including Moving Ground at Gallery 5, and in group exhibitions at Gallery 263, Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Kniznick Gallery, and the Cambridge Art Association.
Howard has received recognition through programs and residencies at institutions including Anderson Ranch Center and the New York Academy of Art, and awards such as The Boston Printmakers Anniversary Book Award. Her work is included in the permanent collections of Boston University Print Department and the Copley Society of Art.
